Tag..I'm IT

I have been tagged again by Brandy. This one is different. It is sets of 4 things I know you're just dying to know about me. I gave you a little intermission so you should be ready for another tag game by now after the hat fashion show. The only thing these tags prove to me is what a very boring person I am!! So here's another very boring list for you:

4 jobs I have had:
1. Hair dresser
2. Went to work for the government at age 19..FCC secretary
3. Typist for Geico..typed policies and endorsements
4. Sewing job with Buster Brown..not the little Dutch boy with the bobbed hair but the company! (Yuck and double Yuck!)

4 movies watched over and over:
1. Gone With the Wind
2. The Color Purple
3. John Q
4. Baby Boom

4 places I have lived:
1. Clinchport, VA (Big town of about 200 people)
2. Washington, DC
3. Rockville, MD
4. Back to VA (Another small town of less than 2500 people)

4 shows I watch:
1. Lifetime movies
2. Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?
3. Reba reruns
4. Golden Girls reruns

Are you yawning yet? If you're still awake, keep going!

4 places I have been:
1. Florida
2. Bahamas
3. Peru, Vermont (where Baby Boom was filmed)
3. Old Orchard Beach, Maine

4. Biscuits and Gravy

I know, I know...even the foods I love are boring to most people, but I get excited over soupbeans and cornbread!

4 places I would rather be:
1. There's no place like home...
2. But if I have to be away from home..Lancaster, PA
3. Home
4. Home

4 things I look forward to this year:
1. Finishing our stairway
2. Taking a very short vacation!
3. Spending time with the grandbabies and my family

4 people to tag:
1. Betty
2. Lib
3. Brenda

Please humor me girls and play along! Betty, don't make me break out my "Magic Mirror"!!

Good Morning Hope,
Since your still sleeping, LOL, I will fix a pot of coffee myself and sit down and read more about you. LOL. We do have some things in common. I love the Reba re-runs as well. Since you worked for Geico, did you get a Geico to bring home? LOL. You are not boring me with all these Meme's. I really do enjoy reading them. I always like to know things about my blogging friends. I did another Meme today and I came out of the closet in my first one. You'll just have to come over for a visit and read it. "THANK YOU" for sharing more things about you. Tis another cold morning here. It is 19 degrees with a windchill of 6 degrees. My DH just got home about 30 minutes ago. He has gone to bed to get some rest. He doens't rest as good out on the road as he does here at home. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Golly gee, Hope, you are jack of all trades. Hairdresser, typist, sewer, master blogger! Is there anything you can't do?

I love to watch Lifetime movies, too. And cornbread and beans? Makes me want to head on out to Cracker Barrel as I don't have any beans cooked.

Boring?! No way. Anybody that likes soup bean, fried cabbage, and likes to stay home is alright by me!

Thank you so much for stopping by for my show and tell today. As I had said before my mother is from Virginia and that is where those pictures were taken on my scrapbook page. So many times I have thought of how selfish we have become, but would hope that if it were needed again that people would pull together like they did during the 40's to look out for one another.

Take care,
Sandra

Hi, Hope...thanks for stopping by. And, I, too, love LOTS of stuff around me in my rooms. I like to call it "controlled clutter"....if it doesn't have a meaning or some special story behind it, I don't like it as much. Nearly everything I have does have a meaning and I wouldn't part with it. I do like some matching things....however, saying that, let me add that most of my furniture does not match, by a long shot.
I would love for you to post some of your rooms...I'd like to see them. I'll do the same sometime. It is so fun to "window peep" into others homes....
I enjoyed reading the things about you! And, you aren't boring in the least. I, too, can do cartwheels for hot cornbread and butter!!

hugs, bj

Gosh Hope, there is NOTHING boring about really good cornbread. CLINCHPORT?!!! What a name. So you were once a Clinchportian. Or a Clinchportite? Ah this is funny! So did you get the gekko's autograph from Geiko...you know he is my absolute, no jokes, spokesperson out there. - Love you... Jennifer

Ahem, trying to say favorite spokesperson or spokes-lizzard as it were. Jennifer
