Stamp of Approval

Well, I finally got my stamp of approval, thanks to Betty! Check it out:

I am just tickled pink (or in this case tickled rose red) for this award! Betty, thank you so much. I'm honored to receive this.

If you still don't know Betty or haven't visited her, please go over to her blog, Betty's This and That and say hello. She is one of the sweetest ladies you will ever meet and has become a dear friend to me.

I just wanted to tell you all that I had a much better day today. I think my medicine is starting to kick in and work for me and watching my diet hasn't hurt either. I know this has to be a life style change and not one of those quickie fad diets. I'm just concentrating on watching my carbs and sugar intake right now. I've done well with that in the past week. Thank you all for being here for me! :o)

Congratulations on your award, Hope. That Betty sure is a keeper, ain't she? :o)

I'm so glad you're feeling better. I hope you continue to do well with your medication and your diet.

Love and hugs,

Congrats on the award. Betty was kind enough to send along her stamp of approval for my blog too. That was just so sweet. AND we two have another 'in common'...I'm changing my lifestyle with my eating habits. Tho, mine is NO cholesterol. And that means no pizza. Ohhhhhhhh, ::sob::, and no chips, no nothing that I love. LOL But, the bright side is I've lost 5 pounds.

Good luck with yours.

Good Morning Hope,
"PRAISE GOD" your meds are finally kicking in. It usually takes it a few days to get in your system. When I went to the doctor on Wednesday, I have had to increase my pill intake to 2 pills of the mornings and still one at night. One of my levels was a little high. It was 8.4 and she said they like it to be under 7. Hopefully I will get it under control and be able to go back to taking 1 pill of the mornings. I have to go back in 3 months. "CONGRATULATION'S" on your Stamp of Approval from Betty. She passed it my way as well. I told her I would acknowledge it one day next week. Well, we don't have any SNOW. We are still under a Winter Storm Warning until midnight tonight. I don't know why tho because according to the radar, it looks to be breaking up and going North and West of us once again. I was hoping to get a measurable Snow so the girls could go out and make a Snowman and I could use my new Camera to take a picture of them. I did a post this morning and will visit some today and tonight. We will start moving tomorrow and I won't be back online until sometime after Monday. That is when the Cable & Internet people are suppose to come out and hook us back up. Take care my friend and have a great day/weekend. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Why such a short blog, Granny? Just because you babysat yesterday and did your daughter's dishes doesn't mean you're off the hook! :O Thanks, Mom, for all you do to help me. Keep up the good work on your diet. Let me know if I can do anything to help (i.e. bring you food, kick your tail, really I'm willing to do anything it takes). Love, Jen

I did real good diet wise today until my Hubby insisted on going in to work just now as we are at a Level 2, he would be excused, but because he has a four wheel drive he thinks he can climb mountains...I just at two handfuls of cashews, darn it...well at least they are gone now...I'm a stress eater...I wish I wasn't.......
