It's almost time..

Remember I told you I am going to be Granny again?? My son called a little while ago and said Angie went for her doctor visit. Her due date was Feb. 3 but he says now that's wrong! She is 2 centimeters dilated and 80% effaced. The doc says probably no longer than the middle of January sometime but it could be any day!! I'm really excited!! Kian, youngest grand, will be 8 on the 29th of Jan. so it has been a while since we've had a little baby around!

This is a collection that I call my Rocking Chair pictures. Each one is me holding my grandbabies right after they were born, starting at the top with Collin, who is now 13! Kian (last picture) was premature and in intensive care. He had wires attached to him everywhere but they let me hold him for this picture. Can't wait to add the 4th picture!

Hi Hope,

Thanks for visiting me today and leaving a comment.

I'm excited for you on the soon to be new grandbaby. My grandkids call me "granny" too. Another thing we seem to have in common.

I'm afraid I'm not very organized. I even buy plastic containers to organize things in and just end up with more clutter, lol, since the containers never get filled. Well, that's not always the case but sometimes it is.

Hugs,
Betty

I can't wait to see a pic of your soon to be arriving grandbaby, you know I love babies!:)

You will laugh at the post I'm going to make tomorrow!! It will show my other enamelware collection :) And I just took all the white enamelware out of the dining room, as you will see tomorrow. I swear, I have a serious problem with rearranging my house,LOL!!!

And you would think with all the moving I do in my house that I would be as skinny as a rail, guess I just like to eat too much.

Too bad we don't live close to each other, I think we would get along famously.

PS, I'm posting here because your email isn't working.

What a wonderful rocking chair composite!

I've got two grands that I saw come into this world (My daughters) and two bonus grands here in Ohio from my daughter in law. They are 9 and 4 so I didn't get to see any of their early years.

My daughter is looking to adopt a Hatian baby boy and I expcect son will have a child in the future.

Here's to being a Grandmother/Nanny or whatever you go by!!

There is nothing like it in this world.

Good Afternoon Hope,
"CONGRATULATIONS" on soon becoming another Grandma. I know you are very excited about it. I love the "Rocking Chair" pictures of your other Grandchildren. They are so precious when they are first born. They still are as they get older, but just something about when they are first born just touches the soul so deep. She may have that Baby sometime next week. Who knows as long as it's healthy. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Hope, how did you get that pretty header that is on your blog? I am trying to change my header from looking so plain into something prettier.

Can you help me?

Thank you, Hope, for your reply to my request. I understand where I get the pictures, but I'm having trouble getting them in the header of my blog.

Do you put them in your "pictures" and then transfer them over to your header or just how did you get that picture onto your site?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Thank you so much, Hope. I got it!!! Now I know how to do it thanks to you.

Sometimes I'm just not very good at expressing myself. Sorry.

Now I have to take a pretty picture and make sure I take the date off the camera, lol.

Hello dearest Hope:-)

Ohhhh how exciting to know that you'll soon be a grandma again!! Praying that all goes well and that you'll soon post the birth announcement:-) I'm so anxious to become a grandma but my boys seem to be in no hurry to make me one!!

I so enjoyed your previous post regarding the old pictures you found of your neighbourhood and what a surprise to find your own picture!! How neat is that!!! Let us know if you find out more about the guy who posted them...maybe he's a relative of some sort, to have that picture??

Take care my friend and here's to a wonderful year of continued friendship. xoxo

Hey Hopey, That is great! I bet Kian is so excited. I talked to Emily on the phone today and she said that she is hurting pretty bad along the sides of her belly! Maybe it wont be long for either of them.
I am so new to this stuff I would appriciate any advice you can give me with this blogging stuff. Seems much more difficult than Myspace. lol
