Cleaning....

Some of you already know that my DH developed a blood clot in his leg last Saturday. The doctor put him on blood thinner, pills and shots he has to give himself in the stomach. He's been out of work all week and still hasn't been released by the doctor. His blood still hasn't thinned enough with the medicine.

Then this morning we got a call from his sister in Ohio. Her mother-in-law who lived here died this morning. They are coming in tonight to stay with us during the funeral.

I've been cleaning all day, changing beds, doing laundry, etc.

I ask that you pray for both situations that we are dealing with. I will try to check in over the weekend with all of you if I get the opportunity. Love to all!

Hope

Good Afternoon Hope,
I didn't even know that Dave had a blood clot. I hate to hear that. I do hope the meds will start working and making his blood thinner. I will surely keep him and you both in my thoughts and prayers. Sorry to hear about Dave's Sister's MIL. I will also keep the Family and everyone in my thoughts and prayers for them. Did yall get any Snow or anything? We never got enough to speak of. My DH called me this morning around 4:25a.m. and they had to pull into a Truck Stop in Lincoln, IL, because they couldn't see the roads. Around noon he called me and told me they were leaving St. Louis, MO, and the road were still bad. I just now got off the phone with him and they just came thru Cape Girardeau, MO, and will be home after while. He said the further South they come, it gets better. I am so ready for him to be home. I have really missed him this week since he didn't get to stop at home on Tuesday/Wednesday morning like they usually do. I will be glad to see him when he gets home. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love ya & bunches of Hugs,
Karen H.

My Hubby was on blood thinner due to irregular heartbeat and I was the one that ended up having to give him the shots in his tummy. It was a first time for me...I'm glad that is over.

I hope they get your Hubby where he needs to be and that all will be well.

We'll miss you until your return! Don't work too hard!

Dearest Hope, you can be certain that I am praying for your hubby...hopefully the blood thinners will start working soon. I can just imagine how worried you are about him. My sympathies to Dave's sister's MIL. I'm glad that they'll be able to stay with you during the funeral but I also know the work involved in getting ready for unexpected company!! Thinking of you! xoxo

First of all, Hope, I love your cursor. So cute.

I hope your hubby is doing better and staying off his feet. I know things are tough for you right now having to do so much for Dave. I am sorry about the death in your sister-in-law's family. I am sure your home will look just fine for the company. Although I will miss your blogging and your comments on mine, I completely understand if I don't hear from you over the weekend.

Love and Prayers,
Betty

Hope, it is 11 o'clock pm and I can't believe I am just now dropping by. Honey, I have no idea why you have had so many trials as of late but I am praying a prayer of healing, strength, and Grace for you. He told us He wouldn't put more on us than we can bare, but it's never fun finding out just how strong we are. You hang in there girl. I am so thatnkful your hubby has a Godly woman like you helping him through his rough spot, as well. Send him my warm wishes. I know you will be busy the next few days with company but let us hear from you as soon as you are able. Love to you, Jennifer

I'm adding my prayers here too. I just left Rachel's blog and see she also has sadness in her life. I've missed both of you.
