Be grateful for the morning dew...

dew on the grass

Be grateful for the kindly friends that walk along your way; Be grateful for the skies of blue that smile from day to day; Be grateful for the health you own, the work you find to do, For round about you there are men less fortunate than you. Be grateful for the growing trees, the roses soon to bloom, The tenderness of kindly hearts that shared your days of gloom; Be grateful for the morning dew, the grass beneath your feet, The soft caresses of your babes and all their laughter sweet. Acquire the grateful habit, learn to see how blest you are, How much there is to gladden life, how little life to mar! And what if rain shall fall today and you with grief are sad; Be grateful that you can recall the joys that you have had.
Edgar Albert Guest (1881 - 1959)

Good Morning Hope,
I am trying to catch up with everyone this morning. I am feeling fairly good for the moment and put up a new post earlier and am out visiting now. That is a beautiful picture and such great poetry to go with it. "THANK YOU" for sharing it with us. I do hope you are feeling better today and that you had a good weekend. Was you able to go and visit with Josie any? I put up a link on my today's post about the graphics I've been using. Stop by when you have time and get the link. My DH left out this morning around 5:00a.m. I sure do miss him already. He called me about 6:10a.m. to check on my and see how things were going. I guess he is missing me as much as I'm missing him. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

I've been catching up on your recent posts. I am so sorry to hear the Josie has been sick, but very glad that she is better now.

BTW I love, love, love the chippy enamel table and chairs!! I think they are perfect just as they are.
