Then there were four...

I am still not totally recouped from all the excitement!! I use to be such a night owl and had no problem staying up all night. Now it just seems to wipe me out. Besides that, it had been a long time since I had pulled an all-nighter!! I did manage to visit most of your blogs a little last night, then back to bed! I'm sure you will agree with me though that Josie was well worth the loss of sleep.

My daughter, Jenny, left a comment yesterday asking me to tell you that she is a proud GranSissy!! Kian gave her that name when he was little. Willie always called her Sis growing up so she wanted Kian to just call her Sissy instead of Aunt Jenny. He was always getting confused and would start to call her Granny, then would say Sissy right after so it became GranSissy!! It stuck and she loves the name. Here's GranSissy, my firstborn, holding her long awaited niece:

There is nothing more precious to a mother's eyes than seeing her own children holding their children. Here is my baby holding his baby:

My baby holding his baby

I talked to Kian on the phone yesterday and he says his baby sister is so cute and he thinks she's a keeper!! Collin and Claire can't wait to meet their new cousin.

And so my legacy lives on! Two wonderful children that have made me so proud and now four very precious grandchildren. More pictures to come as soon as I get everybody together.

Good Afternoon Hope,
I'm here with my coffee cup, you got any coffee made? Your Grandbaby is so precious and I know your not one bit proud huh? LOL. Just kidding. I could see it in your eyes from the previous post. You have some wonderful children as well. I know you are very proud of them. You son looks so happy with his own daughter. I can't wait to see more pictures. I'm still going to be online. "PRAISE GOD" I was able to pay the Cable & Internet Bill late yesterday afternoon. Have you stocked up on your Bread & Milk yet? LOL. If I run out, our local grocery store is just right across the highway from us. I can just hop over there and get some more if I need it. I don't think we will be seeing much around here at all. I think it's just going to be a cold rain is all. I think it's gearing up for you and Lib. But it's not me sending it yall's way. If I could, I would keep it all here. LOL. I seen you had been over to Lib's. I guess you will just have to go stay all night with Lib so you can hog all the coffee from me. LOL. Well, if yall wasn't so far off, we could all 3 get together and have a sleep over and have coffee together huh? LOL. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.
P.S. Is Brandy okay? She hasn't posted in a few days. I left her a comment yesterday, but she still hasn't posted as of right now.

My daughter is known as Sissy as well as was her great great grandmother. My grandmother did not wanting us calling her Sissy as she always despised anyone calling her own mother in law Sissy as she had such a pretty name (Nancy Joanne) and noone ever used it.
It stuck though and she'll answer to Amanda or Sissy!

Those are precious pictures!!!

Get some rest now!

How beautiful. I see that blankie that Darling Baby is swaddled in and it takes me back. My own Darling Babies were wrapped in the same type of hospital blanket. Man aren't they the most amazing little blessings that you have ever in your life beheld? All i can say is "Ain't God Good" (quote from my Daddy).
Hope, thanks for listing me and for your support. It means alot.
visit you again soon! - Jennifer

"GranSissy"!!! How cute! And how perfectly logical! If Daddy's mother is one's "grandmother" then Daddy's sister ought to be one's "grandsister"! Yep. Makes sense to me.
